It's too hot - 97° with a heat index of 104°. So, what better time to get on the computer and just stay cool. I've been looking at some of the regulars and a few new artists. Have to say there's a lot of amazing talent out there. Almost makes me want to throw my hands up and say "I give up!". But, I really won't... I just enjoy doing what I do even though it's for my own pleasure and sharing it with you all.

Had some rough months during Spring. Better half recovered from a bad case of pneumonia (at 66 years old you don't just "spring" back). Also had some concerns with his liver...but we're on a "okay for now" place. I had strep twice in 30 days....!!! Then had a bad reaction to one of the drugs I was given for pain...(the choice pain reliever of Dr.House) and thought I was going to throw my kneecaps up.

Then, I finally went out to sign up for Social Security... yes, I'm officially old now! Free lance work load is drying up and with the economy the way it is, I don't expect it to get any better.... so, a little financial help will ease the pain somewhat.
