Missing

The holidays are upon us and for the last few years you can feel something is missing. I know what it is and every year it makes a bigger hole. Missing my Mom & Dad... missing my niece...missing a dear friend (daughter's father-in-law)...

The older I get the more lonely it feels...those souls fill our lives with the stuff we need and every time we lose one, it leaves an emptiness that's never replaced.

For those of you who've not lost a loved one or friend - cherish the time you have with them...if you have experienced loss... I'm sorry.

Why thank you so much. I think we are just a normal family with ability to explore and try many different things. Even though I have my art and karate, as well as my wonderful family, I find myself wishing I could play a musical instrument or sing or something else. Guess that's the challenge...always striving to do more.

Good to hear from you... I haven't been on here much lately either because I've been swamped with a major art job that took almost 2 months to finish. Finally done today. I've also joined "Facebook" at the request of my granddaughter and have been learning to manipulate that site also. Other than that, I've been sadly watching the leaves blossom into beautiful colors and dreading the colder weather. What have you been up to?

I've been doing temp work mostly. I'm getting ready to head out for two years as a missionary for my church, which I'm really excited for. :)

Okay - I'll look for you there. I've been pretty busy, so it may be a few days before I get to it.

Congrats on the missionary work. My nephew is planning on being a minister and is headed for Bible College at the beginning of next year.
